Music And Arts

Music is a universal language and at Imani, it is the heart of worship. The Music & Arts Ministry Team includes the musicians and those who are gifted with dance, singing, drama and spoken word. The Music & Arts Ministry Team emphasizes the importance of music in worship as we worship God in spirit and in truth, through congregational singing, choirs and ensembles. The genre of music includes spirituals, gospel, hymns and inspirational music that reflect our Baptist, Methodist and Pentecostal style of worship.

“Shout your praises to God; everybody! Let loose and sing! Strike up the band! Round up an orchestra to play for God, add on a hundred-voice choir. Feature trumpets and big trombones, fill the air with praise to God!” Psalms 98:4-6
