The Imani Health Ministry is a Holistic Ministry that recognizes the Church as a place of healing The Health Ministry at Imani Community UCC addresses issues of faith and health in the congregational setting. It responds to the biblical call to health, healing, and caring for one's self and neighbor. The mission of the Imani Community Health Ministry Team is to promote physical, social, and spiritual well being for our members and the community, using the teaching and ministry of Jesus Christ as our guide

“Jesus sent his twelve harvest hands out with this charge: Don’t begin traveling to some far-off place to convert unbelievers; and don’t try to be dramatic by tackling some public enemy. Go to the lost, confused people right here in the neighborhood. Tell them that the Kingdom is here. Bring health to the sick. Raise the dead. Touch the untouchables. Kick out the demons. You have been treated generously, so live generously.” Matthew 10:5-8
