Northern California Nevada Conference
The Northern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ is made up of the 120 or so UCC congregations from Porterville to the Oregon border, and slipping over into Reno, and about 200 authorized ministers.
Pacific School of Religion
Since its founding in 1866, Pacific School of Religion (PSR) has served as a multi-denominational Christian seminary. PSR has formal relationships with three denominations: the United Church of Christ, the United Methodist Church, and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and participates in the Graduate Theological Union (GTU), an ecumenical consortium of nine theological schools.
